【Hybrid Event - Registration Required - November 27, 2025】 Research Water Cooler Talk Vol. 10 (Special Edition): "What is J-PEAKS? Researchers Discuss the Future" — Hosting a dialogue event themed around interdisciplinary convergence!
Hiroshima University has been hosting the "Research Watering Hole Talk" dialogue event since December 2020, aiming to provide an infrastructure for researchers to interact casually and generate new ideas and collaborations.
This time, the 10th Research Watering Hole Talk (Special Edition) is titled " What is J-PEAKS? Researchers Discuss the Future." Researchers active in the key areas of J-PEAKS —synchrotron radiation, semiconductors, metamaterials, and bio —will take the stage. They will candidly discuss the appeal of their respective research and the potential for interdisciplinary fusion research that transcends field boundaries.
The event is open to all: researchers and graduate students from within and outside the university, companies, and the general public. We look forward to your attendance and participation.
