Program for Forming Japan's Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS)
Semiconductor, Supermaterial, and Bio-domain Convergence
Realization of an Industrial Cluster Ecosystem
Seeing Matter with Synchrotron Radiation
Outline
Hiroshima University's J-PEAKS Initiative
Hiroshima University has been selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's FY2023 " Program for Forming Japan's Peak Research Universities." We are working to realize an integrated industrial cluster ecosystem for semiconductors, metamaterials, and biofields, centered on visualization technology using synchrotron radiation.
The university aims to become a "hub for people, knowledge, and resources," promoting the smooth and effective circulation of human talent, intellectual property, and resources (funds and information). This will foster the concentration of international talent and industry, aiming to form an ecosystem where diverse fields converge.
