Selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Semiconductor Human Resources Development Center Formation Project"
Hiroshima University has been selected as the coordinating institution for the Chugoku and Shikoku regions under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Fiscal Year 2025 University Education Revitalization Strategy Promotion Fund: Semiconductor Human Resources Development Hub Formation Project (enSET)" and the "Fiscal Year 2024 Supplementary Budget: University Education Revitalization Strategy Promotion Fund: Equipment Improvement Project for Semiconductor Human Resources Development Hub Formation."
Our university has designated the "semiconductor" field as one of the key areas for J-PEAKS. This selection directly aligns with J-PEAKS' vision of "promoting regionally-driven research and talent development through interdisciplinary convergence."

Project Overview
This project will be implemented as the "Chugoku-Shikoku Semiconductor Talent Acceleration Program — Chugoku-Shikoku VISTA (Value-Integrated Semiconductor Talent Acceleration)"
.
We will establish a systematic and practical educational program primarily targeting master's degree candidates to cultivate professionals capable of overseeing not only design and manufacturing but also applications and use cases.
